Dr Conor O’ Byrne, received an award for his leadership of the project *PATHSENSE (Understanding and Exploiting Mechanisms of Sensory Perception in Bacteria). This €3.4 million project will recruit 13 PhD fellows in a collaboration involving eight universities and four companies, located in seven different countries around Europe. The overall goal of the project is to identify vulnerabilities in pathogenic bacteria that can be targeted with next-generation antimicrobial treatments. Click here to learn more

First Consortium Network meeting Amsterdam 19th June.
The Principal investigators of the network met for their first consortium meeting in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This coincided with a recruitment event where interviews for prospective ESRs took place. A successful event!
